This process creates perfect platinum hues, golden sparkles and a brilliant presence. MADE IN MEXICO
Fermentation, the process where the alcohol in Tequila Nuestro Placer is obtained from the sugars obtained from the baking of the pineapples and found in the must resulting from the milling process, which are transformed into ethyl alcohol by the natural action of microorganisms or yeasts.
Milling in tahona is a centuries old process used to extract the juice from the agave fibers through a volcanic stone wheel that weighs about two tons; this wheel is the essential part of the taste, smell and sight of Nuestro Placer.
Baking, consists of putting the agave pineapples in high temperatures for 48 hrs. so that the juice of these that concentrates the starch is transformed into sugars. They must be cut into uniform pieces so that the cooking is even and the nectars or juices are transformed into a kind of syrup.
Jima, consists of separating the agave leaves when it has reached maturity, once the pineapple is obtained, formed by the stem and the basal part of the leaves or stalks where the inulin and reducing sugars that are used for the production of Tequila are stored.
Double distillation, separation of components through vaporization and condensation of the liquid in stills. The product obtained from the first distillation is called "ordinario" and the second distillation is called "tequila", in both cases the separation of heads and tails is performed to obtain the heart of Tequila.
During the tequila production process, waste and remains of the agave known as bagasse are obtained. This fuel generates a horizontal flame that enters the boiler; the heat produced during this combustion is transmitted to the water circuit in the heat exchanger incorporated in the boiler, thus obtaining hot water for the heating system or DHW.
Aging is one of the most important stages in the maturation process that gives Nuestro Placer its exquisite flavor and aroma, carrying out a dynamic balance where French and American oak barrels make reference to spicy aromas such as vanilla, cinnamon, pepper, caramel and orange.
Double Filtration, "Crystalline". through a chemical process using activated carbon particles that work as magnets to retain some of the characteristics of the Tequila Reposado. The first filtration is to remove the color and the second to make the tequila silkier to the palate.
